Description More than 200 owners and senior executives from Vietnamese Small and Medium-Sized Businesses (SMBs) participated in an SMBs Symposium entitled “Elevating Vietnamese SMBs to the Fourth Industrial Revolution World” held on October 23, 2017, in The Rex Hotel Saigon, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. US-ABC member companies such as Coca-Cola, FedEx, Google, Mastercard, Microsoft, Cisco, and Kimberly-Clark shared their expertise on optimizing the potential of Vietnamese SMBs in face of the Fourth Industrial Revolution World (Industry 4.0) over three panel discussions alongside representatives from the VIETRADE, VCCI, Vietnam Women Entrepreneurs Council (VWEC), and Vietnamese local start-ups. Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City’s People Committee, Mr. Tran Vinh Tuyen, the Vice President of VCCI, Mr. Vo Tan Thanh, U.S. Ambassador to Vietnam, The Honorable Ted Osius, Consul General, Ms. Mary Tarnowka, and US-ABC Senior Vice President & Regional Managing Director, Ambassador Michael W. Michalak were among the distinguished guests who attended the symposium.
